Job summary

PING is offering a summer internship with the Fitting & Performance team, blending engineering with golf analytics. You will work on fitting technologies, data-driven insights, and analytics tools that enhance the custom fitting experience for golfers worldwide.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical fields and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in golf and applying technical expertise to improve player

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of college coursework must be completed before the internship begins.
You must be willing to dedicate at least 8 weeks (40 hours per week) to the internship.
The internship requires you to be onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

Support development and enhancement of Ballnamic, WebFit, and related fitting applications.
Analyze golfer, club fitting, and performance data to identify trends.
Develop algorithms, models, and tools for fitting recommendations.
Evaluate data quality and perform statistical analyses.
Assist with user testing and validation of fitting technologies.
Collaborate with engineers, fitters, and product teams to improve fitting experiences.
