Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is hiring an Energy Compliance Analyst in the Property Management Department. You will manage utility expenses (electricity and natural gas) for city facilities, audit franchise fee revenues, and support data integrity and reporting.

The role reports to the Energy Manager and supports energy strategy across municipal assets. Minimum qualifications include a related bachelor’s degree and 4 years in facility management with utilities; a Texas driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Four years of experience in general/municipal facility management dealing with utility expenses and budgeting, building systems and operations, asset management.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile high-volume utility expense invoices for City facilities.
• Audit TDSP charges, fees, and surcharges to identify errors and cost recovery opportunities.
• Develop and maintain databases to analyze energy usage and expenditures for municipal assets.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (energy engineering, energy management, engineering technology, business administration, public administration or related field)
