Job summary

HelloFresh in Kentucky is seeking a Demand Planner to help forecast demand, validate data, and build dashboards that drive meals, staffing, and logistics decisions across Europe. You’ll work hands-on with SQL, forecasting models, and analytics to improve product availability and reduce waste.

You will join a team transitioning to a global, automated forecasting function and will learn to apply trend, seasonality, and promotions to optimize daily supply chain execution.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or related analytics role.
• Strong SQL, Excel and BI/tools experience (PowerBI or Tableau).
• Familiarity with forecasting concepts and metrics (MAPE, bias).
• Curiosity for forecasting in data-limited environments and learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Validate and QA demand data pipelines daily.
• Build automated data quality alerts and monitor forecast anomalies.
• Investigate variances between forecast and actuals and document root causes.
• Write SQL to extract and transform demand data across cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Support development and refinement of forecasting models under guidance.
• Create dashboards and reports showing KPIs like forecast accuracy, bias, and availability.
• Collaborate with forecast engineers and analysts to scale pipelines.
• Experiment with AI tools to speed up data tasks and insights.
