Job summary

Colgate is seeking a Category Manager in Rosemont, IL, sitting at the intersection of retail strategy, shopper insights, and commercial execution for Walgreens Oral Care. You will transform POS data into actionable stories, optimize 5P execution, and shape the consumer experience on shelf.

You will lead data-driven category reviews, planogram optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive retail growth and brand objectives across internal teams and external buyers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in consumer product goods sales, category management, or related commercial marketing roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience analyzing syndicated data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience using industry syndicated data tools including Nielsen, Circana, Numerator Insights, Spectra, or retail POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate consumer and shopper insights into compelling category narratives and drive retail growth.
• Align brand/category goals with account priorities to own 5P execution, pricing, and promotion.
• Design and optimize planograms to maximize shelf presence and fair share.
• Conduct post-campaign analyses to measure promotional effectiveness and refine strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with external retailers and internal cross-functional teams.
