Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Sr. Manager, Catman & Shopper Insights for Value Discount, Club & Home Improvement. You will lead a team of Category Managers, delivering shopper insights to shape category solutions and customer recommendations.

You will partner across Colgate's organizations, turn data into narratives, and guide strategic actions. The role can be based in Rosemont, IL or New York, NY, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6+ years in Consumer/Shopper Insights, Shopper Behavior and/or Category Management.
• Experience leading a team or mentoring others in category management.
• Experience with customer Shopper Behavior Data (Luminate, Dunnhumby, ExtraCare, 1010, etc.).
• Experience with Household Panel data (Numerator, Nielsen Panel, etc.).
• Experience with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI).
• Preferred: experience in consumer product goods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Category Managers focused on shopper insights.
• Turn shopper insights into actionable recommendations for customers.
• Tell fact-based stories to drive Colgate and category solutions.
• Synthesize shopper data, insights and POS data to inform decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
• Influence agenda through collaboration, negotiation and thought leadership.
