Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC is seeking a qualified Business Analyst in Charleston, West Virginia to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and use cases. You will work with IT teams to ensure smooth software delivery and data integration.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, strong SQL and BI skills (Power BI/Tableau), and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps within an SDLC/Agile environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong SQL proficiency and data visualization skills with Power BI or Tableau.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps in SDLC/Agile environments.
Excellent communication to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
CBAP or IIBA credentials are a plus.
Minimum three years in the field with related experience or 5 years with alternative education.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business needs into clear specifications and user stories.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure successful software delivery and integrations.
Query and validate data sets using SQL and BI tools.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups within Agile frameworks.
