Job summary

ESC-20 seeks an Education Program Leader to provide project and regional leadership, staff development, and performance management aligned with TEA initiatives and state priorities. You will guide diagnostic data evidence-gathering and analysis to support district outcomes.

The role requires a master’s degree, Texas certification, and strong experience in district leadership, data analysis, and program management. In-person collaboration is essential in this office-based role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate; mid-management or principal certification preferred.
• Five years of K-12 campus/district leadership experience required.
• Experience with education data and state initiatives.
• Knowledge of TEA state accountability and related data systems.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate systemic planning for TEA initiatives and Commissioner priorities with district leadership.
• Research and interpret data to support state initiatives with professional development.
• Lead groups to build capacity in Accountability and Assessment.
• Manage project activities, milestones, resources, and communications.
• Monitor district progress and mitigate risks related to accountability and assessment.
• Analyze district data and develop long-term strategic plans with staff.
