Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Round Rock, TX is seeking an enthusiastic IDEA Academy teacher dedicated to helping students master academics and social skills essential for college success.

You will plan rigorous instruction, assess mastery, track progress, and engage families while contributing to a collaborative IDEA Team and Family culture. Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification are required; bilingual certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution (required).
• K-12 classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Teaching certification and content-area proficiency required (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate student progress to families weekly.
• Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Provide tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
