Michael Best is looking for a Data + Design Business Intelligence Architect to join our Marketing and Business Development team, with a focus on transforming complex revenue and marketing data into intuitive, actionable insights. This role is central to how we empower marketers and business developers with the tools they need to make data-driven decisions - through seamless data pipelines, smart integrations, and most importantly, exceptional user experiences.

You’ll help architect and maintain a data infrastructure that supports revenue generation efforts, campaign performance tracking, customer segmentation, and strategic growth initiatives. Your work will directly influence how marketing and business development teams interact with data - making it accessible, engaging, and easy to act on.

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain automated data pipelines that support business intelligence, marketing analytics, CRM integration, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Build and manage APIs that connect marketing platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc.) with internal systems.
  • Architect and optimize data models and datasets to support marketing KPIs, funnel analysis, and customer journey insights.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts on the design and development of Power BI dashboards with a strong focus on user experience (UX) – ensuring they are intuitive, visually engaging, and tailored to marketing users and revenue generators.
  • Collaborate with marketers and business developers to understand their workflows and design data tools that enhance usability and decision-making.
  • Champion UX best practices in dashboard layout, interactivity, and storytelling to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by identifying and correcting data quality issues.
Qualifications
  • 2‑3+ years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Python and SQL with the ability to apply them in data transformation, automation, and dashboard development.
  • Experience with the Microsoft data stack: Azure, Power BI, SQL Server, Power Automate, etc.
  • Experience with API development and integration, especially with marketing and CRM platforms.
  • Proven ability to design user‑centric dashboards that balance technical depth with visual clarity and ease of use.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles as they apply to data visualization and self‑service analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing and business teams.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Other
  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
