Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Pikeville, KY is seeking a Data Coordinator/Expansion & Outreach to maintain EMR systems, conduct basic statistical analyses, track clients, and perform client follow-up assessments. The role involves coordinating data across programs and supporting outreach activities.

The position requires at least 1 year in human services, proficiency with MS Office and data tools, and strong communication skills. Travel between WestCare UKY programs is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Human services role is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office is required.
• Familiarity with data collection tools (e.g. standardized instruments, surveys, information obtained from database, etc.) is required.
• Ability to create databases in Excel, SPSS, etc. is required.
• Basic understanding of statistical data and the construction of variables is required.
• Familiarity with basic graphic programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
• Ability to interpret basic statistics is required.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects baseline, discharge, and follow-up data on clients.
• Develops and enters data into statistical databases.
• Enters information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Monitors data collection processes and coordinates data management.
• Maintains a tracking and follow-up log for all clients.
• Engages clients across programs to assist with tracking and follow-up, and administers Client Surveys.
• Conducts chart audits for evaluation purposes.
• Maintains Research and Evaluation files for each client.
• Performs basic analyses and produces reports as required.
• Produces reports for the Operations Manager and Director of Evaluation as needed.
• Provides feedback to Administrative staff and the Director of Evaluation regarding attainment of goals and data collection.
• Travels between WCKY programs to inform clients of services offered through the RCORP project.
• Maintains involvement across WCKY programs to ensure knowledge of services.
• Assists leadership in Performance Improvement activities.
• Assists staff to promote cooperation and a professional image to the community.
• Embodies the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
