Harris SmartFusion - This remote role welcomes candidates from anywhere in Canada or the US.

Our Professional Services team has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual passionate about providing implementation services for our customers. The Data Conversion Specialist must interpret business rules and data effectively. You will be part of a collaborative team ensuring a positive customer experience with our products. Excellent communication, time management, organizational skills, and flexibility are essential.

Your key responsibilities include migrating data from various systems into the SmartFusion Solution, ensuring accuracy and adherence to methodology, and supporting implementation projects mainly across the US South and Southeast regions. This is a remote position aligned with EST hours.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Utilize tools and processes to migrate data into Microsoft SQL Server accurately and efficiently.
2. Develop complex T-SQL and PowerShell scripts to facilitate data migration.
3. Reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy.
4. Interpret requirements and set up systems accordingly.
5. Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues during implementation.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Product Owners, and Support Analysts.
7. Assist in data conversion and software installations as needed.

What We Are Looking For

1. At least 3 years of data migration/conversion experience with multiple projects.
2. Strong Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL scripting skills.
3. Knowledge of Windows PowerShell and issue tracking tools like JIRA.
4. Excellent technical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
5. Understanding of software implementation activities.
6. Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
7. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
8. Willingness to travel for customer meetings (0%).

What Will Make You Stand Out

1. Experience in customer service, training, or IT support.
2. Advanced SQL scripting and database modification skills.
3. Knowledge of the SmartFusion product and accounting principles.
4. Degree in computer information systems or related field.
