Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced business analyst to build and implement control frameworks across the Alpha platform. You will coordinate with Client Implementation teams and internal product groups to ensure controls align with client timelines.

The role emphasizes data quality, SQL, and Excel proficiency, with exposure to Jira/Confluence within an Agile environment. You will contribute to dashboards and product control offerings across front, middle, and back office domains.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities.
• 5+ years in data analysis or financial services data roles.
• Experience with SQL, data quality checks, and ETL workflows.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Alpha Data Service teams to capture client requirements and timelines in Jira.
• Develop understanding of IDC data quality checks and workflows.
• Understand how ADS Alpha Service Desk surfaces IDC checks for clients.
• Track and report progress against client deliverables; escalate as needed.
• Engage with practice areas to grow the product control and dashboard offering.
