Job summary

ECI Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Data Consultant Representative for the e-Automate platform.

You will onboard new customers migrating data from their current systems and work with existing clients on post-implementation data projects. You will ensure projects stay on track, on time, and deliver excellence, collaborating closely with the implementation team, project managers, customers, and partners to sustain momentum and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• ERP product knowledge and experience in manufacturing, operations, distribution, or finance.
• Ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders via phone or in person.
• Strong communication (oral and written) across roles and levels.
• Experience with E-Automate knowledge is helpful.
• Experience with SQL and large data ETL processes.
• Proficient in Excel for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary representative for new customers implementing the ECI software.
• Lead customer sessions to document initiatives, gap analysis, and analytics needs.
• Prepare and manage implementation timelines, budgets, scope, and delivery.
• Follow the ECI implementation methodology and coordinate with the team lead or PM.
• Document requirements, system design, configuration, data migration, and go-live tasks.
• Provide post-go-live consulting and activity reporting.
• Monitor project timelines and budget, escalate issues as needed.

The Position: Data Consultant Representative: e-Automate

The Data Consultant Representative’s primary responsibilities include onboarding new e-Automate customers as they transition their data from their current software to e-Automate and working with existing customers on post-implementation data focused projects. No matter the size or scope of a project, the Data Consultant Representative is responsible for ensuring our implementations stay on track and are delivered on time and with a level of excellence. Collaboration with the ECI Implementation Consultant, ECI Project Managers, customers and software partners is crucial to maintain project momentum and address obstacles to ensure the success of each project. Data Consultant Representatives are also encouraged to continually improve our processes, using learnings from each project to help reduce the time and effort involved in future implementations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the primary representative and go-to resource for new customers implementing the ECI software solution.
• Lead customer sessions with the objective of identifying and documenting: Current and future business initiatives, Gap analysis within current systems and/or processes, and Reporting / data analytics requirements.
• Implement the software, considering aspects such as timeline, budget, scope, and delivery, following the implementation methodology and agreements with the team lead or project manager.
• Understand and deliver upon the ECI implementation methodology, which includes the ability to complete:
• Requirements gathering through existing process reviews
• Systems design and fit-gap analysis
• System configuration and setup
• Engineer solutions based on complicated customer business requirements
• New process design and definition
• Pre-implementation system testingConcept validation and user acceptance testing
• Data migration and data formatting recommendations
• Go-live implementation tasks and post-go-live consulting
• Consulting recap/activity reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate project and time administration
• Identify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Awareness of the budget and the solution ECI sold the customer.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong ERP product knowledge, ERP experience preferred
• Understand common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance
• Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner tusers with varying levels of technical expertise via telephone and in-person
• Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills targeted to effectively present information tall customer role levels
• E-Automate knowledge, E-Automate implementation experience helpful
• Experience utilzing ETL tools for large data sets for both importing and exporting into/outof SQL databases
• Experience with SQL
• Strong Excel skills for transforming and manipulating data sets
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Asana preferable
