Job summary

ECI Software Solutions seeks a Data Consultant Representative for the e-Automate product line. This role focuses on onboarding new customers, leading sessions to document business initiatives, data analytics needs, and ensuring timely and quality implementations.

You will collaborate with implementation consultants, project managers, and customers to deliver robust data-focused solutions and continuous process improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong ERP product knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirements and analytics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills for various stakeholder levels.
• Experience working with data migration, data quality, and data governance tasks.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, SQL querying, and reporting tooling.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary representative and go-to resource for new customers implementing the ECI software solution.
• Lead customer sessions to document business initiatives, gaps, and reporting needs.
• Implement the software following the project plan, timeline, budget, and scope.
• Deliver on the ECI implementation methodology, including requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis.
• Design and configure systems, and engineer solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Manage pre-implementation testing, go-live tasks, and post-go-live consulting.
• Provide ongoing project and time administration visibility and issue/escalation handling.

The Position: Data Consultant Representative: e-Automate

The Data Consultant Representative’s primary responsibilities include onboarding new e-Automate customers as they transition their data from their current software to e-Automate and working with existing customers on post-implementation data focused projects. No matter the size or scope of a project, the Data Consultant Representative is responsible for ensuring our implementations stay on track and are delivered on time and with a level of excellence. Collaboration with the ECI Implementation Consultant, ECI Project Managers, customers and software partners is crucial to maintain project momentum and address obstacles to ensure the success of each project. Data Consultant Representatives are also encouraged to continually improve our processes, using learnings from each project to help reduce the time and effort involved in future implementations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Be the primary representative and go-to resource for new customers implementing the ECI software solution.

Lead customer sessions with the objective of identifying and documenting: Current and future business initiatives, Gap analysis within current systems and/or processes, and Reporting / data analytics requirements.

Implement the software, considering aspects such as timeline, budget, scope, and delivery, following the implementation methodology and agreements with the team lead or project manager.

Understand and deliver upon the ECI implementation methodology, which includes the ability to complete:

Requirements gathering through existing process reviews

Systems design and fit-gap analysis

System configuration and setup

Engineer solutions based on complicated customer business requirements

New process design and definition

Pre-implementation system testing

Concept validation and user acceptance testing

Data migration and data formatting recommendations

Go-live implementation tasks and post-go-live consulting

Consulting recap/activity reporting

Ensure timely and accurate project and time administration

Identify and manage potential issues and escalations in coordination with the Project Manager.

Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Awareness of the budget and the solution ECI sold the customer.

Candidate Requirements

Strong ERP product knowledge, ERP experience preferred

Understand common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance

Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner tusers with varying levels of technical expertise via telephone and in-person

Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills targeted to effectively present information tall customer role levels

E-Automate knowledge, E-Automate implementation experience helpful

Experience utilzing ETL tools for large data sets for both importing and exporting into/out of SQL databases

Experience with SQL

Strong Excel skills for transforming and manipulating data sets

Knowledge of project management tools such as Asana preferable
