Job summary

ECI Software Solutions, Deacom ERP division, is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to drive customer implementations from requirements through go-live and ongoing optimization. You will lead customer sessions, document initiatives, perform fit-gap analysis, configure systems, migrate data, and report on progress, traveling across the US and Canada as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, supply chain, information systems, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of ERP experience preferred.
• Experience in software implementation or consultation.
• Understanding of manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance practices.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to users with varying tech levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills.
• Professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone.
• Valid driver's license and/or passport for travel in US/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary representative for new customers implementing the Deacom ERP platform.
• Lead customer sessions to identify business initiatives and requirements.
• Perform requirements gathering, design and fit-gap analysis, configuration and setup.
• Engineer Deacom solutions based on customer needs.
• Conduce validation and pre-implementation testing.
• Data migration and formatting recommendations.
• Consulting recap and activity reporting.
• Drive KPIs to improve customer business.
• Travel to US/Canada customers (~25% up to 50%).

Deacom: Senior Implementation Consultant

ECI is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, high-energy, hands-on professional to join our Professional Services team to drive project implementations for our Deacom ERP platform.

Our ERP Senior Implementation Consultants act as key resources and points of escalation for each implementation. Their goal is to successfully implement and provide ongoing consulting for customers utilizing Deacom, creating an exceptional customer experience by implementing new strategies, solutions, and processes that lead to successful go-lives.

What You Will Do

• Be the primary representative and go-to resource for new customers implementing the all-inclusive ECI Deacom ERP platform.
• Lead customer sessions to identify and document current and future business initiatives, gap analysis within current systems and/or processes, and reporting/data analytics requirements.
• Understand and deliver upon the ECI Deacom implementation methodology, including:
• Requirements gathering through existing process reviews
• Systems design and fit-gap analysis
• System configuration and setup
• Engineering Deacom solutions based on complex customer business requirements
• Concept validation and user acceptance testing
• Pre-implementation system testing
• Data migration and data formatting recommendations
• Consulting recap and activity reporting
• Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that help customers understand and continuously improve their business.
• Travel to customers throughout the U.S. and Canada, averaging approximately 25% of the time, with travel potentially increasing to as much as 50% during certain project phases, such as go-live and other key customer milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, supply chain, information systems, or equivalent
• Strong ERP product knowledge; 3+ years of ERP experience preferred
• Prior experience in software implementation or consultation
• Understanding of common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance
• Ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to users with varying levels of technical expertise, via telephone and in person
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a self-motivated drive to deliver high-quality work
• Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
• Professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone
• Valid driver's license and/or passport for required travel within the US and Canada
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows

Additional Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience working with customers on business process improvement projects
• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures
• Prior experience in project management, specifically using MS Project or other project planning tools
• Proficiency in MS Visio, designing process mappings and flowcharts to illustrate workflow
