Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract to hire position.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide critical end-to-end production support of metric reporting routines
2. Communicate with senior executives within and outside of the organization to drive proper risk culture and business strategy through pristine and error-free reporting and dashboards
3. Responsible for trending analysis, and success analytics to identify areas of discrepancy and possible at-risk controls
4. Data mining, data aggregation, business metrics, SPI inventory output analysis, risk program metrics analysis, and performance/milestone analytics
5. Consistent, timely delivery of reporting requirements using existing macros and code
6. Proactive identification of code or macro breaks
7. Successful application of macro/code fixes and creation
8. Demonstrated ability to capture, manipulate, and clean data from multiple sources and systems of record
9. Applied critical eye to catch errors or discrepancies
10. Reliable application of advanced Excel and SQL skills to produce reporting in an efficient, timesaving manner

Requirements:

1. Advanced, expert Excel skills (5+ years)

4. Analytics experience - dissect, distill, and simplify data (7+ years)
5. Able to remain nimble and positive when priorities change and Adhoc needs arise
