SRE is seeking a Data Analyst, Consultant to lead data-driven workforce analytics and strategy efforts across multiple federal task order contracts. This position will focus on integrating and analyzing workforce data, developing actionable insights, and delivering impactful solutions to stakeholders, including senior leadership and Congress. Responsibilities include managing data from federal systems, conducting workforce gap analyses, creating SQL queries, and developing dashboards with Power BI. The role also supports workforce strategy alignment with frameworks like NICE and DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (8140), while driving process optimization and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Data Integration and Management:
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from sources such as HRSmart, USAStaffing, LEAF, ServiceNow, and VA systems.
  • Aggregate and standardize data, ensuring accuracy for workforce metrics and reporting.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Conduct workforce gap analyses aligned with organizational goals.
    • Create and maintain SQL queries for reporting.
    • Ensure data integrity, especially in HRSmart and VA systems.
  • Visualization and Reporting:
    • Translate data into insights for stakeholders like Congress and leadership.
    • Develop dashboards using Power BI to illustrate workforce trends and KPIs.
  • Support Workforce Strategy and NICE Alignment:
    • Align data efforts with NICE and DoD frameworks.
    • Generate competency reports and workforce development recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
    • Respond to ad hoc data requests.
    • Collaborate across teams to provide tailored data solutions.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Leverage data insights to streamline workflows.
    • Develop tools and frameworks for workforce analytics.

    Skills and Experience:

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL).
    • Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
    • Familiarity with HRSmart, USAStaffing, LEAF, ServiceNow, and other federal systems.
    • Strong data analysis skills, including statistical techniques and data cleansing.

    Workforce Analysis and Strategy:

    • Experience with skills assessments, gap analyses, and competency modeling.
    • Knowledge of IDPs and linking training to workforce goals.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Ability to create and present visual insights for stakeholders.
    • Synthesizing data into strategic reports.

    Other Desired Skills:

    • Familiarity with ITIL principles and systems like ServiceNow.
    • Experience with exercise design or scenario-based learning.
    • Problem-solving skills and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
    • Experience with SSMS for database management and troubleshooting.

    Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and related areas.

    Compensation:

    The estimated salary range is $75,000-$95,000/year, based on skills, experience, and organizational needs. SRE complies with all relevant labor laws.

    Work Environment:

    Primary location is Washington D.C. Metro; remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. Travel expenses are not reimbursed outside the area.
