Job description

The Data Communications Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing social media content, coordinating donation and volunteer campaigns, and utilizing Qualtrics for data analysis and reporting. This role aims to enhance platform growth, efficiency, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical, and adept at leveraging digital tools to engage the community and support the department's mission.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
  • Develop, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
Campaign Coordination:
  • Plan and execute donation and volunteer campaigns, including creating promotional materials, coordinating with stakeholders, and tracking campaign performance.
Qualtrics Management:
  • Utilize Qualtrics for survey creation, distribution, and data analysis to gather insights and inform strategies for platform growth and efficiency.
Data Reporting:
  • Analyze survey data and generate reports to provide actionable insights for improving social media strategies and campaign effectiveness.
Content Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
Community Engagement:
  • Foster and maintain relationships with Online communities, responding to inquiries and engaging with followers to build a strong Online presence.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments and external partners to ensure cohesive and effective communication strategies.

  • 3 years of experience in digital media management, social media marketing, or related roles, preferably in a nonprofit or government setting. (preferred)
Hours:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours are typically Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Hours may vary based on business needs of the department and some weekends, evening hours or holidays may be required during special events.
Work Environment:
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
  • This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually average.
Physical Demands:
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
  • This would require the ability to lift files of up to 50 lbs., open filling cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

  • Reports To Position: Sr. Director of Grants & Nonprofit
