Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Start-Up/Commissioning Lead to join our team for world-class data centre projects. You will develop Start-Up and Commissioning plans, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure GDP-compliant documentation while engaging with OEM technicians and construction partners.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge data centre construction, with a collaborative culture, travel to various client sites, and a hybrid work model that balances office and remote work.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent years of experience)
• 5–14 years of Start-Up and Commissioning experience in data centre or life sciences
• Understanding of GMPs and GDPs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop Start-Up and Commissioning Plans and execution strategies
• Lead the team in developing system Start-Up and Commissioning Plans for black utility and HVAC
• Generate and execute Start-Up and Commissioning documents per GDPs
• Coordinate with OEM service technicians and construction management
• Apply engineering knowledge of HVAC, black utilities, instrumentation and controls
