Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Start-Up/Commissioning Lead for data centre construction projects. You will develop start-up and commissioning plans, lead GDP-compliant documentation, and coordinate with OEM service technicians and construction teams. The role offers growth in a global engineering firm with a hybrid work model and travel opportunities.

BS in engineering plus 5–14 years of Start-Up/Commissioning experience, GMP/GDP knowledge, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 5–14 years of Start-Up and Commissioning experience in data centre or life sciences.
• Understanding of GMPs and GDPs; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop Start-Up and Commissioning Plans and execution strategies.
• Lead System Start-Up and Commissioning Plans for black utilities and HVAC.
• Generate Start-Up and Commissioning documents per GDPs.
• Coordinate with OEM service technicians and construction teams.
• Apply engineering knowledge of HVAC, instrumentation, controls, and automation.
