Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Start-Up/Commissioning Lead to join our data centre construction team. You will develop start-up and commissioning plans for black utilities and HVAC, lead documentation efforts, and oversee execution with OEM service technicians.

This role offers exposure to world-class projects, requires 5–14 years of Start-Up/Commissioning experience in data centres or life sciences, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–14 years in Start-Up and Commissioning for data centre or life sciences.
• Understanding GMPs and GDPs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel to multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop Start-Up and Commissioning Plans and execution strategies.
• Lead Start-Up/Commissioning plans for black utilities and HVAC systems.
• Generate and execute Start-Up and Commissioning documents per GDPs.
• Coordinate with OEM service technicians and construction teams.
• Apply engineering knowledge of HVAC, black utilities, instrumentation and automation.
