Job summary

Technimove Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to support ongoing operations at client data centres in Hayes. The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of data centre infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, hardware lifecycle tasks, and collaboration with engineering, operations, and vendor partners to meet SLAs. Strong Linux, networking, and cooling knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting datacentre infrastructure (servers, network hardware, storage).
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues.
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced hands-on support across data centre environments including racking, cabling, hardware lifecycle tasks, and on-site diagnostics.
• Independently execute and oversee migration, installation, and engineering engagements to high standards.
• Collaborate with Consultancy, Project/Programme Management and customer tech teams to lead onsite execution within defined projects.
