Job summary

Clear. seeks an experienced Construction Manager II to lead site delivery on mission-critical construction projects across the United States. The role involves hands-on management of site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and driving safety, quality and programme delivery on data centre environments.

The role requires travelling extensively nationwide to support projects, with a focus on ownership of site delivery and proactive issue resolution in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading site teams on complex construction projects.
• Background in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong subcontractor management, scheduling and coordination skills.
• Understanding of safety, quality control and programme delivery.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain project progress.
• Monitor quality and ensure work complies with drawings and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and commissioning teams to resolve issues.
• Track progress, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Review docs, drawings and schedules to support execution.
• Resolve coordination issues between trades and disciplines.
• Support commissioning, testing, punch-list, handover activities.
• Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and outstanding issues.
