Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Data Center Water Treatment Field Engineer to be based in Abilene, Texas, supporting data centers across central Texas. You will solve water treatment issues, assist with field startup and commissioning, and conduct lab work and testing for data center cooling systems.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year science degree and are willing to travel up to 75% within Texas. The company offers competitive pay ($100k-$120k first year) plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year technical degree in the sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Eng, Biology, Mechanical Eng, Paper Science or Water Resources).
• Travel 50–75% of the time, mainly in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Solve data center water problems focusing on water use, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
• Support field startup, commissioning, deployment, and operational activities for data center liquid cooling systems.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at a data center.
• Deliver on customer KPIs and promote Garratt-Callahan solutions including proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
• Commission newly installed assets and control equipment.
• Keep existing customers happy and safe.
