Job summary

Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Data Center Water Treatment Field Engineer based in Dallas, TX to support data centers in central Texas. You will solve water treatment concerns, assist startup and commissioning of cooling systems, perform water testing, and troubleshoot related equipment.

Requirements include a 4-year technical degree in the sciences, willingness to travel 50–75% in Texas, and experience with mechanical systems or HVAC.

Qualifications

• You must have a 4 year technical degree in the sciences to qualify for this position, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources.

Responsibilities

• Solve Data Center water problems focused on water use, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
• Support field startup, commissioning, deployment, and operational activities for Data Center liquid cooling systems.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at a data center.
• Help deliver on customer KPIs and promote Garratt-Callahan solutions including proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
• Commission newly installed assets and control equipment.
• Keep our existing customers happy and safe.
