Data Center Warehouse Associate (Finance)

The Yahoo Data Center Operations Team is dedicated to maintaining the most efficient and green data center technology in the world. Our team ensures optimal performance for Yahoo users globally.

About the Role

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in supply chain and logistics, with a willingness to work actively and collaboratively in a busy environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries, including packages and large shipments requiring heavy equipment.
• Pack and ship equipment as needed.
• Use various systems for receipts, shipments, and inventory management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean loading dock and staging area.
• Assess received items for damage and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Order and stock office and breakroom supplies.

Requirements

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to excel.
• At least 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging tools.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Forms).
• Basic Excel skills, including formulas.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
