Storage Administrator Journeyman

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking a Storage Administrator, Journeyman who will provide support and management of data storage solutions for the USSTRATCOM enterprise. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of critical data assets while optimizing storage performance and capacity.

The work location is Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain storage systems
  • Monitor storage arrays, disk provisioning, and zoning for performance
  • Plan for storage capacity and future growth
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data recovery and system integrity issues
  • Optimize storage performance through configuration tuning
  • Generate reports on storage usage, performance, and incidents
  • Apply expertise on complex work assignments, requiring originality and innovation
  • Operate with latitude in developing methodologies and solutions
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in data storage administration or related IT roles
  • Required 8140 Certification within 6 months: 451 - Basic; A+ or CND or Network+; or applicable degree or training

Additional Desired Certifications:

  • NetApp Certified Professional

Skills and knowledge:

  • Proficiency in storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and data management tools
  • Understanding of data security and compliance
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical environments

Pay Range:

The salary range is from $65,000 to $136,500, influenced by location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, family support, education, and time off. Learn more here.
