Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a VDC Manager with a data center focus to lead MEP/FP BIM coordination in a complex environment. You will oversee Navisworks and ACC workflows, develop coordinated BIM models, and drive issue resolution across design, field, and trades from preconstruction through construction.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in VDC/BIM coordination, strong Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD skills, and experience with ACC and ReCap.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in a VDC/BIM coordination role (GC, subcontractor, or design firm).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC); ReCap and point cloud workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP/FP BIM coordination workflows from preconstruction through construction.
• Facilitate and drive coordination with field superintendents, design teams, subcontractors, and specialty vendors.
• Perform and oversee clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and ACC.
• Develop, manage, and maintain coordinated BIM models and composite drawings based on evolving design and construction inputs.
• Lead coordination meetings, track action items, and ensure timely issue resolution and accountability.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to validate field conditions and ensure alignment with coordinated models.
• Manage and track coordination issues within ACC, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
• Enforce VDC QA/QC standards and manage coordination sign-off processes.
• Support implementation of VDC standards, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team development.
