Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Senior VDC/BIM Manager for mission-critical data center projects in Philadelphia or with remote consideration. You will lead MEP/FP BIM coordination from early design through construction, driving issue resolution and ensuring top-quality deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior staff, manage ACC/Navisworks workflows, and collaborate with field teams, design partners, and vendors to meet schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a VDC/BIM coordination role (GC, subcontractor, or design firm).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with ACC; ReCap and point cloud workflows preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, constructability, and construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead coordination efforts and drive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP/FP BIM coordination workflows from preconstruction through construction.
• Facilitate and drive coordination with field superintendents, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and ACC.
• Develop and maintain coordinated BIM models and drawings as design evolves.
• Lead coordination meetings, track actions, and ensure timely closure.
