Job summary

DC BLOX in Atlanta is seeking a Utility Delivery Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure for data center campuses. You will collaborate with pre-development teams, operations, sales, and development to keep projects on track.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and 3+ years of HV construction management, with willingness to travel up to 50%. This position offers growth in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of medium/high voltage construction management.
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external partners and consultants for electrical substation design and construction.
• Establish project schedules and report on milestones for utility projects.
• Communicate regularly with utility companies to ensure transmission and distribution infrastructure remain on track.
• Develop budgets and cost forecasts for utility projects, including construction and equipment procurement.
• Manage construction of multiple substation sites.
• Deliver utility projects on schedule, on budget, and as designed.
• Track and report on power delivery timelines.
• Prepare scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate and negotiate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Review and approve monthly contractor pay applications and change order requests
• Other duties as needed.
