Job summary

Daksta is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to oversee data center builds across multiple active sites in the United States. You will supervise daily operations, enforce schedules, and read complex blueprints to ensure precision and safety.

The role requires travel 75–100% to active sites, leadership of field crews, and a focus on uptime standards. Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or mission-critical construction.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction operations on data center builds.
• Enforce project schedules and milestones.

• Manage installation of critical infrastructure: cooling systems, raised flooring, cabling, fire suppression.
• Ensure compliance with uptime/reliability standards (Tier I–IV).

• Lead field crews and subcontractors; resolve on-site conflicts or delays.
• Mentor junior supervisors or foremen; perform inspections and punch lists.
• Track progress, budgets, and issues; maintain daily logs and reports.

Data Center–Specific Oversight

• Manage installation of critical infrastructure:
• Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units)
• Raised flooring, cabling, fire suppression
• Ensure compliance with uptime/reliability standards (Tier I–IV)

Travel & Multi-Site Coordination

• Travel frequently (often 75–100%) to active job sites
• Rotate between projects or stay on-site for extended durations
• Report progress to corporate/project leadership remotely

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA and site safety standards
• Conduct site inspections and safety meetings
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Lead field crews and subcontractors
• Resolve on-site conflicts or delays
• Mentor junior supervisors or foremen

Quality Control & Reporting

• Perform inspections and punch lists
• Track progress, budgets, and issues
• Maintain daily logs and reports
