Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in the US to lead large-scale data center projects from planning through construction, aligning design intent with execution. You will coordinate with developers, engineering, and procurement to optimize capital expenditure and contracts.

You will use advanced cost modeling and data analytics to predict risks, balance budgets, and drive timely delivery across EPC teams. The role emphasizes collaboration with executives and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program management experience in construction, real estate, or data center industry including site selection, due diligence, and permitting.
• 8 years of experience in agreement negotiation, procurement strategies, and using data visualization tools to track program performance and manage vendor relationships.
• 8 years of experience in strategy and cost governance, utilizing value engineering and parametric modeling to optimize CapEx and contracting methodologies.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake, planning, and pre-construction phases of large-scale data centers with developers to meet design intent and construction execution strategies.
• Drive cost and schedule governance across multi-billion dollar CapEx portfolios and oversee agreement management strategies.
• Advocate parametric cost modeling and analytics to optimize real estate development and building design using data to predict risks and standardize elements.
• Act as strategic linchpin between developers, design engineering, procurement, and internal stakeholders, leading critical agreement negotiations.
