Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC is seeking an L2 Technician in Reno, NV with 2–5 years of experience to diagnose server issues, manage hardware procurement and RMA processes, and perform firmware upgrades. The role requires configuring network settings and supporting remote teams through install and audit tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an L2 Technician or in a related IT role.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting server issues.
• Experience coordinating hardware procurement and replacements.
• Experience performing firmware upgrades and configuration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot server issues and isolate root causes with remote teams.
• Coordinate procurement and replacement of faulty hardware components.
• Install replacement parts and manage returns (RMA) to vendors.
• Perform firmware upgrades ensuring compliance with approved versions.
• Configure IP addresses and default login credentials.
• Support network admins with cable/optics replacements and port re-routing.
• Upgrade hardware, rack, and cable devices for remote configuration readiness.
• Provide hands-on support for ad hoc operational requests.
• Validate connectivity and readiness post-installation.
• Conduct physical audits for inventory accuracy.
