Job summary

Flexential is seeking a candidate to support customer interactions and day-to-day data center operations. You will handle calls and emails, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and escalate when needed. You will participate in security sign-in, cabling standards, and task documentation within a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work 24x7x365 with varied shifts. A high school diploma and IT/Data Center exposure are required.

• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
• Must be a self-starter, reliable and dependable.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• High attention to detail and delivery of commitments.
• 0-4 years of IT or Data Center Support experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues and alarms with Flexential Infrastructure.
• Escalate to engineering staff in a fast-paced data center environment.
• Perform security sign-in and badging for all customers and visitors.
• Track time on tasks and support cases, including installations and outages.
• Enter Cap Labor on timesheets and complete timesheets on time.
• Follow Flexential Cabling Standards and safety protocols.
• Document tasks and handoffs to ensure continuity of operations.
• Install hardware in cabinets per Flexential best practices.
• Support 24x7x365 operations with varied shifts as needed.
