Job summary

Milestone-Technologie seeks a Data Center Technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking gear, and cabling in our data center environment.

You will work with Data Center Leads to manage inventory, handle tickets, and perform hardware replacements, moves, and racks. A strong emphasis on safety, attention to detail, and independent work is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Real ID or other federally accepted identification for U.S. travel.
• Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and repair.
• Ability to travel to supported data center locations.
• Strong professional communication skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable wearing PPE for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking gear, and cabling.
• Accurately pull and manage inventory in accordance with documented processes.
• Support ticket management processes and timely resolutions with Data Center Leads.
• Perform hardware replacement tasks such as drives, RAM, motherboards, and other components.
• Move and rack equipment for special projects and perform related physical tasks.
