Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Data Center Technician to monitor and manage power, cooling, and environmental conditions in our Denton data center. You will act as a first responder to incidents and oversee planned and unplanned work to ensure timely completion and compliance with safety policies.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a data center, strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, UPS, and BMS/CMMS systems, plus solid reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related technical certification preferred.
• At least 3 years in a data center environment.
• Technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, UPS, BMS/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions in the data center.
• Act as first responder to incidents and manage data center work orders.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and liaise with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety policies and change control are followed.
• Maintain facility data, rounds, and PM records.
