Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, OH is seeking a Data Center Team Lead for the Builds-B shift (Mon-Fri 2 PM-10:30 PM). You will lead material orders, inventory management, and the assembly/installation of servers using hand and power tools, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires 3-5 years of related experience, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work with live electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Ability to pass background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound/outbound freight and manage shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight and ensure part numbers and quantities are correct.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical spare parts on site.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Position server racks accurately using laser measuring devices.
• Install cabling and populate electronic components into server racks per diagrams/schematics.
• Install rack hardware with hand/power/measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
• Lifting and pushing/pulling as part of daily tasks.
