1 Prospect Technologies, LLC is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to support Data Center Operations within a complex web server environment at Fort Detrick, MD. The role focuses on monitoring environmental systems, performing power up/down procedures, rack and stack, and coordinating with the Fort Detrick LCSC for incident resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a Secret clearance, CompTIA Security+, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ required.
• Associate degree desired with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar help desk tracking tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Access, Excel, Visio and Word.

Responsibilities

• Performs power up/down procedures for data center devices.
• Provides operational support for server-class platforms.
• Rack‑mounts and cable‑manages server, network and storage hardware.
• Coordinates with Government staff for equipment prep.
• Provides help desk support for Fort Detrick LCSC and logs issues.
• Offers on‑call support during evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotation.
• Maintains documentation, SOPs, and logs for systems and activities.
• Supports data center expansion, growth, and reconfiguration projects.
• Verifies security controls and facility integrity daily.
