Next Level Technician in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Low Voltage Data Center Technician to install and maintain structured cabling and data center infrastructure. You will pull, terminate, dress, label cabling, and work with racks, patch panels, and fiber systems on site.

Ideal candidates have 0+ years in low-voltage, knowledge of telecom networks, and are willing to travel within Texas. Weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of commercial or industrial low-voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, fiber, or security systems preferred.
• Data center experience is a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots).
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed.

Responsabilités

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling.
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure.
• Work safely on ladders and lifts while remaining comfortable working at heights.
• Read and interpret blueprints, cabling plans, and system layouts.
• Install and support structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and related data center infrastructure.
• Assist with rack-and-stack, cable management, and data center installation projects.
