Job summary

Next Level Technician in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Low Voltage Data Center Technician focused on structured cabling. You will pull, terminate, dress, and label cables, install racks and patch panels, and read blueprints.

Travel to Texas job sites as needed, with safety gear required. Ideal candidates have 0+ years of low-voltage experience; knowledge of structured cabling, voice/data, fiber, or security systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of commercial or industrial low-voltage experience.
• Basic working knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed.
• BICSI, lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling.
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, cabling plans, and system layouts.
• Install and support structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and related data center infrastructure.
• Assist with rack-and-stack, cable management, and data center installation projects.
