Job summary

The role requires 2+ years of structural engineering experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit, and the ability to manage multiple design tasks across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Ability to research new designs, technologies and methods for data center facilities.
• Experience with US building codes and standards relevant to data centers.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design tools (RISA 3D preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual and detailed design of data center structures.
• Perform structural design and analysis per standards (lifting, transport, installation).
• Design structural steel connections (bolted and welded).
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure code compliance.
• Produce SD, DD and CD narratives for structural design aspects.
• Review and approve structural submittals.
• Coordinate thermal calculations with architectural engineers.
• Ensure model and drawings meet quality control.
