Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to join the DC Design Engineering team. You will design electrical systems for data centers, build and maintain BIM models in Revit, and prepare construction documents for permit sets across multiple facilities.

You will collaborate with the Central Engineering Team to support data center design with accurate BIM data, perform calculations, and ensure coordination with other trades while meeting tight delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit for producing Electrical engineering BIM models.
• Understanding of electrical building systems and BIM workflows.
• Ability to develop and maintain BIM models and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical systems of Data Centers and creating BIM models in Revit.
• Developing and publishing construction documentation for electrical building systems.
• Coordinate with engineering group and other trades for clash detection and resolution.
• Travel to Data Center sites for evaluations and surveys as required.
