Nexans in the United States is seeking an Application Engineer for Large Projects & Strategic Infrastructure to support Data Center and related mission-critical developments. You will collaborate with end users, EPCs, engineering consultancies and Nexans teams to design and specify electrical solutions from concept through commissioning.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with strong LV/MV distribution knowledge and experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with LV/MV distribution systems and electrical design principles.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (data centers, facilities).
• Strong communication with clients and cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical engineering support for major Data Center and infrastructure projects across the US/North America.
• Collaborate with end users, EPCs, engineering consultancies and contractors to define requirements and solutions.
• Perform LV/MV cable sizing, electrical calculations and design reviews.
• Review single-line diagrams, cable schedules, drawings and BOMs to validate designs.
• Engage early in project design to influence specifications and select Nexans solutions.
• Support tenders, RFQs, and customer presentations with technical input.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and partners.
• Guide project execution through installation and commissioning support as needed.
• Coordinate with Sales, KAM, Product Management and R&D for complex requirements.
