Job summary

Nexans seeks a Project Specialist to lead the full lifecycle of large-scale opportunities in our Major Project Group. You will own bid coordination, customer engagement, and post-award delivery, working cross-functionally across engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll develop forecasts, maintain a live pipeline, and ensure compliance with technical and procurement requirements while traveling within Canada and North America as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, commerce, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project management or project coordination in wire and cable, electrical, or industrial sectors.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from bid stage through delivery.
• Comfortable with technical specifications, single-line drawings, and tender documents.
• Willingness to travel within Canada and North America.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage project opportunity pipeline, quotes, and forecast in CRM and systems.
• Coordinate bids with internal teams, plants, and distributors for large-scale projects.
• Lead post-award execution, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and documentation.
• Share market insights to support continuous improvement within the project management group.
