Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Stationary Building Engineer for data centers. You will operate, maintain and repair critical building systems including boilers, pumps, HVAC, electrical motors, and life safety equipment to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires physical work, climbing, and the ability to respond to emergencies. EPA 608 certification and NFPA 70E training are preferred; US work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in data center/critical facility.
• Experience with UPS systems, generators and switchgear.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CMMS experience.
• EPA 608 certification preferred; NFPA 70E training preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, heaters, pumps, valves and steam/water lines.
• Maintain and repair refrigerant compressors, condensers and HVAC components.
• Operate air compressors and control systems, including electrical controls.
• Maintain water distribution, filtration, and life safety equipment.
• Repair electrical motors/generators and life safety systems; inspect for compliance.
• Inventory control of parts and maintain equipment rooms and related facilities.
• Respond to site emergencies and support holiday/vacation coverage.
