Job summary

The Commissioning Manager at Kiewit Industrial District oversees the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and handover framework for assigned projects in the Industrial Market. You will lead and direct project staff, coordinating with QC, MEP teams and vendors to meet safety, quality and schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering or 10–15 years of equivalent field experience.
• Minimum eight years of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with an MEP contractor or commissioning firm.
• Mastery of the commissioning process, L0–L5, and understanding of project docs and QA/QC.
• Broad understanding of building systems across disciplines such as HVAC, piping, electrical, lighting, instrumentation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific end-to-end commissioning activities from Level 1 to Level 5 for new facilities or retrofits.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners and operations teams to ensure compliant project delivery.
• Develop and manage commissioning and QC plans per contractual turnovers to the client.
• Lead Start-up and Commissioning meetings and ensure documentation and testing are completed per plan.
