Job summary

Kiewit Industrial District is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover phases on industrial projects. You will ensure safety, quality, value, and schedule targets are met across multiple teams.

This role requires extensive field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to balance technical and operational decisions. Travel up to 100% may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum eight years in construction management or commissioning, preferably with an MEP contractor.
• Mastery of the commissioning process, L0-L5, and QA/QC document relationships.
• Ability to travel up to 100% across project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific end-to-end Commissioning activities for new or retrofit facilities.
• Coordinate with QC and MEP teams to ensure test scripts and plans are followed.
• Define on-site resource requirements for trade partners and vendors.
• Integrate Start-up and Commissioning schedules into project plans.
• Lead meetings to communicate QC plans and schedule updates.
