Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Commissioning Manager in the Industrial District to oversee pre-commissioning through handover on complex facilities. The role requires leading staff across disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, value and schedule alignment with project plans and costs.

You will manage end-to-end commissioning activities (Levels 1–5), coordinate with QC/MEP teams, and drive start-up readiness, with up to 100% travel and relocation as needed across project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 8–15 years of construction management or commissioning experience required.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes across levels L0-L5.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific end-to-end Commissioning activities Level 1–5 for new or retrofit facilities.
• Coordinate with QC and MEP teams to ensure documentation and commissioning steps meet plans.
• Lead/start-up and handover activities and align with project schedule and contractual obligations.
• Drive safe, quality, timely project delivery and teamwork across partners.
