Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Commissioning Manager in Kansas City to lead end-to-end commissioning for industrial projects. You will manage Level 1–5 commissioning, coordinate with QC/MEP teams, and ensure safety, quality, value, and schedule requirements are met.

The role requires 8+ years in construction management or commissioning, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and ability to travel up to 100%. This is a full-time position with relocation support within the Kiewit Industrial District.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management or commissioning.
• Expert understanding of design, start-up and turnover.
• Mastery of L0-L5 commissioning process.
• Knowledge of multiple building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific end-to-end Commissioning activities from Level 1 to Level 5.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners and operations teams.
• Implement policies to support project schedule and obligations.
• Coordinate with QC and MEP teams for commissioning activities.
• Lead Start-up and Commissioning meetings and reviews.
