Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director, Solutions Data Centers to lead the design and articulation of integrated facilities management solutions for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and AI/HPC data center portfolios. This client-facing role translates complex requirements into operating models, staffing plans, and commercial constructs.

The role requires extensive FM solutions development experience, plus leadership in staffing models, pricing, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for data center IFM pursuits across portfolios.
• Interrogate client requirements and translate into operating model.
• Build labor model and staffing plan underpinning price.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assemble integrated solutions.
• Author and orchestrate technical responses: narrative, staffing, transition plan, tech stack, governance, risk register.
• Lead workshops and client meetings; present engineering and FM approach to leadership.
• Conduct win/loss reviews and update assets and templates.
• Maintain library of data center solution components and staffing benchmarks.
• Design the critical-facilities engineering operating model with on-site teams and 24x7 coverage.
• Define maintenance program for all critical systems and BMS/EPMS integration.
• Quantify engineering solution: headcount, tools, spares, training, subcontracted services.
• Build staffing models by site and portfolio with rotations and coverage.
• Define licensure matrices and recruitment ramp plans.
• Benchmark engineering ratios and rationalize deviations.
